This team was formed in memory of Nicholas Michael Slack 9/24/07~11/13/07.

Nicholas Michael joined this world at 5:02a.m. September 24, 2007 and earned his wings the afternoon

of November 13, 2007. He was so eager and ready for this world he only needed 4 pushes to join it,

he got here quickly and was loved for a very long time before he got here and even more so once he

was here and will be forever.

Nicholas was 7 weeks and one day old when he left us. Fifty days just wasn't long enough but he sure

left an impact. He was our youngest (at that time) and he did not let that fact get in the way. Although he was too

little to have words, he was able to make his needs known, sometimes with just an expression on his

little face. He would look at those who held them as if he was studying them and trying to talk too,

he would move his little lips like he was talking, but no words ever came out. The day he was able

to make sounds happen, he looked so surprised and his little eyes got so big. He loved to be held

close and wanted to be cozy and warm. Nicholas was a very good eater, when he was being fed a

bottle, he often made those around him curious. He would suck down the bottle while making little

noises while he ate, his mommy often joked that he made that bottle of baby formula sound like he

was drinking a milk shake. When he was having tummy time, he could push up on his hands like he was

doing push-ups and this little guy could scoot, he'd lay on his back and dig his little heels in and

push himself along the floor, he sure was a strong little guy. He was a very sweet natured baby,

perfect as could be.

He was known as Nick-Nick by his older brothers. Daddy called him Nicholi. It

really didn't matter what we called him, he was ours, he was special and will forever be loved and

missed. He was everything a parent could want in a new baby. He was perfect in every way. One day he

went to sleep and never woke up and now he is an angel for real.

50 days wasn't long enough by any means but my little boy Nicholas Michael Slack was very loved and

won't ever be forgotten........
