Second Annual Giving Hearts

Giving Hearts, an annual fundraiser to support the Wyandotte Clinic for the Working Uninsured, will be held from 6 - 9 p.m., Friday, Feb. 11, at Henry Ford Medical Center - Brownstown, 23050 West Road, Brownstown.

This annual event raises money for the clinic, while honoring the physicians and medical professionals who volunteer their time providing care to the community. The event includes hor d'oeuvres, a silent auction, beer/wine and chocolate delicacies.

The Wyandotte Clinic for the Working Uninsured helps working people get healthy and stay healthy. The clinic is volunteer-run by members of the Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital medical staff, and employees from nursing and support services with the common goal to treat and educate the community to achieve and maintain better health. Services include primary care; Well Woman check ups (pap tests, breast exams and mammography); podiatry; nutrition counseling; work physicals and referrals. Patients must be at least 18 years old and show proof of employment.

Tickets for the event are $30 and can be purchased through the Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital Philanthropy office at (734) 246-9583 or at the door.
