Dig Into Spring Saturday with the Wyandotte Beautification Commission

Lend a helping hand this weekend during the city's annual Spring Dig-In event.

Despite Michigan's ever-changing weather patterns, it's hard to deny that spring finally seems here to stay.

Come celebrate the season by giving Wyandotte some color! Show off your green thumb this Saturday for the Wyandotte Downtown Dig-In, an annual event sponsored by the city's Beautification Commission.

The Dig-In has drawn more than 80 volunteers at once during past years, working alongside Wyandotte’s 11 Beautification Commissioners. All volunteers are welcome and those who come out this time around will help put in new flowers and plants at various spots along Biddle Avenue.

"It really is wonderful to watch our residents work collectively, and passionately, to present Wyandotte as the Gem-By-The-River that it is," said John Darin, Chairman of the Wyandotte Beautification Commission. "We have open arms (with trowels!) for all to help make downtown Wyandotte Bloom."
