WATCH: Ground Broken for Wyandotte Vietnam Veterans Memorial
The monument will be placed at the east end of Superior at Van Alstyne, across from Bishop Park.
Ground was broken Tuesday afternoon at the future site of the , which will sit at the east end of Superior at Van Alstyne.
A dozen veterans representing six organizations have pledged to raise upwards of $25,000 to construct the monument in honor of the 10 Wyandotte soldiers who died while serving in Vietnam.
