CMS to Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital: In Compliance

WYANDOTTE – Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital announced today that the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) issued a report today indicating that “your hospital is now in compliance with the Conditions of Participation.”
CMS had published a notice that appeared in the Sunday, April 13, issue of the News Herald newspaper. The notice was due to a beverage temperature incident that occurred at the hospital earlier this year.
The Wyandotte team immediately took all the appropriate steps to correct the issue and the hospital remains in good standing with CMS.
CMS visited the hospital Monday after it had received a corrective action report from the hospital the week before.
“I would like to thank all of our staff and physicians for their dedication and commitment in providing the best in patient safety and quality care,” said hospital President and CEO Denise Brooks-Williams.
“And, we thank our patients and the Downriver community for continuing to trust us with their health care. We have been serving the health care needs of the Downriver community for more than 85 years – we remain committed and ready to serve you.
