Hello Downriver! First of all, let me tell you a little bit about me. Though, surely many of you know me. I've been involved in music since forever, and a good part of it has been right here in the Downriver community.
I'm currently the director of music ministries for Detroit's St. Gabriel Parish, but I'm no stranger to churches in the Downriver community. I served for several years as one of the choir directors at St. Francis Xavier Parish (now, St. Andre Bessette). And I was also director of music for Wyandotte's St. Elizabeth Parish. I directed the Spanish choir over at St. Alfred in Taylor for a little while, too!
And recently I started teaching from my home studio in the beautiful City of Wyandotte, Little Piano House.
Yes, it's actually a little house devoted to music and things artistic. My friend, Kyra, whose art is featured at River's Edge Gallery, shares the Little Piano House using a room as her creative artistic space. My husband is also an artist. While Kyra chooses water color my husband prefers acrylics. And me? I prefer Piano!
And so, the Little Piano House is full of art and. . .Pianos!!!! Located near Wyandotte's Roosevelt High School. Do contact me for more info.
