'Service to Humanity Is the Best Work of Life ... '

That is the last line of the creed belonging to the Wyandotte Jaycees, an organization that has changed my life in so many ways since I became a member in 2008, and every single day I am so very proud to be a member and be a part of making positive change in the community.

My name is Mariesa DeAngelis, and I am the 2013 President of the Wyandotte Jaycees. We are a group of like minded individuals ages 21-40 who strive to "provide development opportunities that empower young people to create positive change." (This is the Junior Chamber International mission that we are a part of.)

I have decided to start writing a bi-weekly blog, posting on Thursdays, as an insider on the impact that our projects, events and membership have on the Wyandotte community. We partner with so many different organizations, making a difference in numerous ways and I want the world to know how amazing we are!!!

My plan is to give everyone an inside look on what it is that we as Jaycees do, along with promoting our events.
