ELVIS TRIBUTE ARTIST HELPS LOCAL THEATER GROUP REFURBISH BUILDING

Elvis tribute artist Chris Solano helps The Downriver Actors Guild fund their ongoing theater building restoration at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 18 with a live two-hour show of Elvis’ most memorable songs at Biddle Hall, 3239 Biddle Ave. in Wyandotte.

            Doors open at 6:30 p.m., with a cash bar. Tickets are $15 pre-sale and $20 at the door.

Intermission features desserts and soft drinks.

            Elvis tribute artist Solano has a strong reputation as a balladeer and rocker, earning praise from fans and peers.

Solano’s performance credits include the Jordanaires, the original Elvis backup singers, and Elvis drummer D.J. Fontana.
            DAG is a 501c3 organization, and all benefit proceeds go to the Theater Development Fund supporting the ongoing renovation of DAG’s newly acquired performance space at Biddle and Superior in Wyandotte.
