Wolverines Win on the Field; Spartans Win on Patch
Saturday's Michigan vs. Michigan State game was close in both scoring and online reader support.
Saturday's game at the Big House came down to the wire, with Michigan beating Michigan State 12-10.
The rivalry was nearly as close online in a Patch.com reader poll. Readers were asked to show off their Michigan or Michigan State pride by uploading photos of their favorite team.
When the photos were counted at midnight Sunday, the Spartans squeaked by with a 35-30 victory over the Wolverines. Several photos featured memorabilia from both teams, which resulted in each team being awarded a point.
