Car Windows Smashed Out In Wyandotte

On Sept. 26, a 64-year old Wyandotte man reported his car window was smashed out overnight. According to the report, a rock was found nearby and was believed to be the object used to break the driver’s side window. The incident occurred on the 300 block of Bondie St. and believed to be related to a string of damaged vehicles that were reported shortly after this incident.
According to the Wyandotte police, a neighbor saw a dark colored vehicle fleeing the area on westbound Bondie St. toward 6th Ave.
On Sept. 29, a 54-year old Allen Park woman reported her car window was smashed out overnight. The incident occurred on the 1100 block of Chestnut St. according to the report. The woman’s driver’s side door window was smashed out by a small projectile according to Wyandotte police.
