Report: Man Dies After Jumping Into Detroit River in Wyandotte

The man is believed to have been in his 50s.

A man died Sunday after jumping into the Detroit River off a pier in Wyandotte, according to WDIV-TV.

According to the TV report, a man was heard screaming that his brother had jumped into the river. A fisherman on the river rescued the man and brought him ashore. He was transported to a nearby hospital and later died.

According to a witness, the man is believed to have been in his 50s.
