Man Reported Missing in Wyandotte Located in Detroit, Police Say

Joe Farkas, 47, of Ohio, was discovered in Detroit, Wyandotte Police Chief Daniel Grant said.

A man reported missing on Sunday has been located, said Wyandotte Chief of Police Daniel Grant. A friend reported Joe Farkas, 47, of Swanton, Ohio missing to Wyandotte police, at 11:10 a.m. on Sunday.

Around noon on Monday, the friend, a Wyandotte man, 41, called police to say Farkas was located at a Salvation Army center in Detroit, Grant said.

Farkas was visiting the Wyandotte man when the man reported him missing, Wyandotte police said. Farkas’ parents are coming from Ohio to give him a ride back, Grant added.
