Police Do Not Suspect 'Foul Play' in Case of Missing Wyandotte Girl

Friends of the missing girl have not been cooperative with police.

*Editors note: Zoie Rayne Mulheisen returned home Wednesday evening.

Wyandotte Police Chief Daniel Grant said the disappearance of a 15-year-old Wyandotte girl is, likely, not the result of "foul play."

Zoie Rayne Mulheisen was reported missing at about 10 p.m. June 1.

Grant expects police will find the Roosevelt High School freshman and return her to her grandmother's custody in the near future.

"We’ve got some pretty good ideas where she is," Grant said. "But, we aren't getting much cooperation from her friends."

Carla Harting, superintendent for Wyandotte Public Schools, would not comment on if Mulheisen had attended school since her family reported her missing. Harting cited the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act, which protects the privacy of student education records.
