Two Cars Damaged On Highland And Emmons

The following information was supplied by the Wyandotte Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

On Oct. 27, a 51-year old Wyandotte man reported that his car was damaged overnight. Sometime between 12:30 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. his car was damaged, as well as his wooden mailbox, according to a police report. 

According to police, the mailbox was forced from the ground near the front porch, and thrown through the rear windshield of the vehicle. The incident occurred on the 700 block of Highland. No suspects of witnesses were located at the time.

Also on Oct. 27, a 35-year old Wyandotte man reported that his vehicle was vandalized. Sometime between 7 p.m. on Oct. 26, and 5:30 a.m. on Oct. 27, the vehicle was broken into, while parked in the man’s driveway, according to police.

Among the items that were stolen from the vehicle were some feminine hygiene products, as well as aspirin tablets. The man’s after-market stereo was damaged, but not stolen. The incident occurred on the 200 block of Emmons according to police.
