Wyandotte Parents Arraigned on Child Abuse Charges
The couple is facing two counts of child abuse of scalding the feet of their two young children in a tub full of hot water, according to police.
A Wyandotte couple accused of forcing their two young children to stand in steaming hot water for so long that the youngsters' feet were severely burned were arraigned on two counts of child abuse Wednesday.
Erica Anne Bohn, 24, and Brandon Edward Soules, 28, were expected to turn themselves into police early this week, according to Wyandotte Police Chief Daniel Grant.
The couple, who Grant said were in northern Michigan over the weekend, failed to do so.

Grant said they received a tip Tuesday night that Bohn was being released from the Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital emergency room. They arrested her at about 1 a.m. Wednesday just before she was discharged.
Police arrested Soules on Wednesday afternoon after Ecorse police took him into custody.

Bohn and Soules were arraigned Wednesday before 27th District Judge Randall Kalmbach. Each are charged with two counts of child abuse, a 10-year felony. Bond was set at $20,000/10 percent for Bohn and $30,000/10 percent for Soules.
A preliminary examination is scheduled for 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 13 at 27th District Court.
