State Sen. Hoon-Yung Hopgood (D-Taylor) is bringing the first of his Coffee Hours Downriver when he sets up shop from noon to 1 p.m. at .
He started the program in April in Wayne.

In a video posted to his website, Hopgood encourages residents to attend the meeting “to hear and learn about what’s going on up in Lansing and to really give you an opportunity to share your concerns and thoughts about the state budget proposals, as well as the tax proposals that are before us in Lansing. Your voice really does matter and we hope you can come out.”
