Railroad Crossing Repairs Will Close Two Wyandotte Streets

Closure at Pennsylvania Avenue begins at 8 a.m. Sunday, Wyandotte Municipal Services announces.

Wyandotte Municipal Services has announced two street closures will take place as railroad crossings are repaired. One street closure begins Sunday at 8 a.m. at the Pennsylvania Avenue railroad crossing, as Canadian National Illinois Central/Grand Trunk Western Railroad makes repairs.

Repairs will be to the street and railroad grade, and the expected completion date and reopening is Nov. 8.

In addition, work on the Emmons Boulevard railroad track crossing will begin at 8 a.m. Nov. 4. Its expected completion and reopening is 6 p.m. Nov. 9.

During the repairs, Pennsylvania and Emmons will be completely closed to traffic at the railroad crossings. Residents should plan to use different routes during these closure times.
