Who Are the Most Beautiful Babies in Wyandotte?

The Wyandotte Jaycees 2013 Beautiful Babies Contest is over and the winners were selected by a jury of your peers.

The top girl babies are Daylah Dolinski, Abby McKenzie and Milania Hawrylak, and the top boy babies were Evan Linting, Preston Barkai and Archer Gasiewski. 

Winning babies were selected by event goers at the Wyandotte Street Art Fair, according to Chapter President Mariesa DeAngelis of the Wyandotte Jaycees.

"All the babies who entered the contest were given jars with a number on it, and patrons of the fair could come and put change into the buckets of the babies they wanted to vote for," DeAngelis said in a Jaycees release.

At the end of the contest Jaycees members tallied up the money and the top six babies were selected and announced on July 29.

“This project is such a feel good event to host each year,” DeAngelis said.  “All of the money raised goes right back into our community programming, and with projects such as Blessings in a Backpack, KidCare ID, our Jayteens program stuffing backpacks for children at a local elementary school, Santa House and Friendly Monster Days at our Haunted House rapidly approaching us, this project sits at a great time of year to be able to support such events.”

The winners will receive prize baskets provided by local businesses. The top boy and girl babies will receive a savings bond.
