Wyandotte Election Candidates Answer Patch Questionnaire: Leonard Sabuda

Wyandotte Patch sent all 15 candidates running for election or re-election an identical questionnaire to give voters more information on each candidate.

The Wyandotte election is rapidly approaching and to help voters make sound, informed decisions, Wyandotte Patch created a questionnaire for candidates seeking election or re-election in 2013.

Election day is set for May 7.

Each of the 15 candidates seeking election or re-election received the same nine questions.

How long have you been a resident of Wyandotte?

53 years

What is your prior political experience?

Administrative assistant to mayor for five years, city councilman for eight years, mayor for four years and municipal service commissioner for 10 years.

What is your prior professional experience?

Industrial chemical sales and 7-Eleven store owner for 26 years. Both store locations are in Wyandotte.

What made you decide to seek election/re-election?

To maintain the quality of life in our city.

What issues do you see affecting Wyandotte?

Financial stability.

What is your plan to address those issues?

Work with mayor, council, department heads to maintain financial future.
