Roosevelt Marching Band Needs Votes for 'Battle of the Bands'

Winner of My TV 20's Bracket Challenge will receive $1,000 and a promotional announcement.

The Roosevelt High School Marching Band needs you!

The Wyandotte Marching Chiefs are part of the My TV 20 “Battle of the Bands” Bracket Challenge.

People can vote online for the Roosevelt High School Marching Band.

“The winning band will get some great PR and $1,000 from their sponsors,” said Mark D’Angelo, Roosevelt's director of instrumental music.

My TV 20 said on its website that it’s looking for metro Detroit’s most talented high school marching band. The brackets are set and now it’s time to vote.

The school with the most fan votes each week will move through the bracket. The winning school will receive a $1,000 donation to its band program and be featured in a TV20 promotional announcement.

Voters can like My TV 20 on Facebook and follow the station on Twitter for results and information. For those who show their school spirit via Facebook or Twitter, My TV 20 could make an appearance at one of their high school’s football games or an event.
