Accomplishment: Tyler is entering the eighth grade at Wilson Middle School and has never missed being on the honor roll. He played for Wilson’s seventh-grade basketball team and swims for the Wyandotte Wildcats. Tyler has volunteered his time at Crossroads Soup Kitchen for the past three years. He also loves animals and can’t pass up the opportunity to help a stray dog. Tyler has two dogs, Kilbourne and Little Guy, and two Chinese water dragons, Medusa and Athena, that he cares for. He plans to spend time volunteering at local animal shelters this summer. Tyler wants to attend Michigan State University and become a veterinarian once he graduates from high school.
Key to Awesomeness: Tyler is dedicated and selfless. He also is kind and patient. He adores his 4-year-old sister, Isabel, and lets her use his iPod Touch whenever she wants. He does his chores without complaining. He is a source of pride to his family.
