Whiz Kid: Wyandotte Teen Wins Art Fair Scholarship

Whiz Kid: Angelica Estrada-Harris

Accomplishment: Angelica won the 2011 Wyandotte Street Art Fair Scholarship, which is voted on by the Wyandotte Street Art Fair Committee. She also received third place in the 13th Congressional Discovery Art Competition. She will be attending the College for Creative Studies this fall. Angelica plans on studying to become an art teacher.

Key to Awesomeness: Angelica said her family and friends are her support system and help to push her throughout everything she does. She has enjoyed art since she was a little girl, but became more serious about it in 8th grade. Her favorite form of expression is painting. She said she finds inspiration everywhere.
