Wyandotte Public Schools Closed Wednesday
All Wyandotte Public Schools will be closed Wednesday, Jan. 29. A wind chill advisory is in effect until 10 a.m. Wednesday.
Wyandotte Public Schools will be closed again Wednesday, Jan. 29 as wind chills are expected near -20 degrees.
Tuesday’s -9 reading broke a record for the date, and it’s snowier this January than it ever has been in southeast Michigan.
The National Weather Service wind chill warning will remain in effect till 10 a.m. Wednesday.
Exposure to such cold temperatures may lead to hypothermia or frost bite on skin exposed to the elements even for a short time. If you venture out, out dress in layers to keep warm and be sure to wear a hat and gloves.
