While the food service workers don't receive health benefits, the other two unions have agreed to accept a high-deductible, no-cost health benefit plan, with deductibles ranging from $1,000 to $2,000.

For each contract, a wage and benefit re-opener is in place, allowing for future negotiations to set wage and benefit costs for the 2013-15 school years.

This comes a week after

Harting said she's pleased to have gotten contracts settled with every employee group before students return next week.

"This is typical, but it's always nice to see," she said. "In recent times, things have been settled before school starts."

Harting said contract negotiations went well and she's anxious to see the district's audit report, which should be completed in a few months.

"We anticipate we are on solid ground with what we’ve done," she said. "A lot also depends on our student enrollment. ... We won’t know those numbers till next week when school starts."
