Wyandotte school Superintendent Carla Harting is hosting a coffee and conversation event from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Board of Education office, 639 Oak St.
This is Harting’s first community-wide meeting in 2013.
They're typically held a few times each school year — sometimes in the mornings to get adults as they're startiing their day and others in the evening.

Harting encourages anyone with an interest in education to stop by for a cup of coffee.
"I'll be here to talk about whatever they’re interested in with the school community," she said. "Any questions they have about the school district, I will answer, and if I don’t know the answer, I will get the answer."
