Blu and Brutus-2 great animals looking for forever homes!!

MEET BLU AND BRUTUS

Blu is a wonderful dog who brings a lot of joy into her foster home. She is looking for a home who will be dedicated to loving her as much as she gives love. Blu is about 1-2 years old, and the sweetest girl! She is currently in a foster home with other canines and a cat, and gets along well with everyone!!

She is housebroken and crate trained. She loves to go for walks and playing with stuffed toys. Blu knows sit, stay and shake. She will be a great family dog, as she is good with kids. Blu has a wonderful temperament in which she can walk for miles, but is very calm and quiet in the house. She is very adaptable to her surroundings. If you are full of energy, she is full of energy; if you just want to relax she is happy to lounge with you.

Although Blu lives with two dogs, she is not great with every dog. She does need to be socialized with other dogs. She also needs to be introduced to new dogs properly. Training for socialization and a firm owner will be great for Blu!!

Her medical background is that she has been spayed, tested for heartworm (neg), given her vaccines including a rabies, fecal tested, and dewormed. She is current on flea and heartworm prevention monthly.

Brutus was dropped off at the pound by owners who said he was being beaten up by the other cat in the house. He is very mellow and laid back so I can see how that story could be true. He was in the pound a very long time and had been overlooked by people coming to look for a cat, probably because he's a boring ol' tabby and because he's not jumping up and down in his cage yelling "Pick me! Pick me!!" Well...I went to the pound to look for a new foster cat and I did pick him! He's not boring at all...he's a gem! If you ask me, his family gave away the wrong cat!

He has been to the vet and is currently on allergy meds so that he doesn't overgroom a spot on his right side. He takes the pills perfectly when I hide them in soft cat treats and the medication is very inexpensive.

 Brutus is now in a home with other cats and 2 beagles. He is totally fine with the cats and is making new friends. He is social and outgoing, not the type of cat who will hide under your bed and never be seen by your friends when they visit. He loves to lay in the window and watch the birds. Brutus is 3 years old and weighs a healthy 14 pounds.  He does not claw the furniture and happily uses the cardboard cat scratchers I have here. He is neutered and current on his vaccines. He has been combo tested, flea treated, and dewormed. Now all he needs is a new family where he can relax and enjoy his home without being bullied by a mean cat.
