Flicker and Nala are Waiting Patiently for Their Forever Homes

Visit Shelter to Home's Pet Adoption Center to see some of our adoptable cats in a home-like setting. The Pet Adoption Center, located at 266 Oak Street, is open from noon to 5 p.m. on Saturdays.

Flicker is an adorable 1-year old ball of fuzz.  In the time he has been with Shelter to Home, he has grown from a very shy and skittish kitten to a very affectionate little guy. He is jealous too!  When he sees one of the other foster cats getting attention, he comes crying to you and squeezes in. He loves to play and gets along well with other cats, but Flicker is still skittish of loud noises or sudden movements so he will need a patient family that will give him time to get comfortable with them and his new home.  The ideal home for Flicker would be a quiet one with no young children or dogs.  Flicker has been neutered, tested negative for feline AIDS and feline leukemia, dewormed, given flea prevention, and he is current on age appropriate vaccines.

Nala came into a shelter on the western side of the state and watched a lot of kittens come and go. She was getting worried because the shelter was getting really crowded and she knew that if she didn’t find a home soon, she would be in trouble. Thankfully Shelter to Home saved her! Nala is safe in her foster home with her loving foster family until her forever family comes for her.  She is very loving to her human companions but prefers to be an only kitty. Nala has been spayed, tested negative for feline AIDS and leukemia, and current on her vaccines. The family who gives Nala a loving home will be rewarded with lots of love in return.
