Laura D & Chewy are looking for their forever homes.

This cute pint size Chihauhau (9 pounds) was rescued from a local shelter where he sat unclaimed for a long time. He is believed to be around 3 years old. So far in his short time in foster care, he is being a very good boy. He is getting along with the resident dog and ignoring the cats. He is very aware of where his foster mom is and would like very much to be around his human.Chewy loves his walks and also has a cute way of standing on his hind legs and 'praying' with his front paws to get your attention.
<One year old Laura D was rescued once with 5 kittens, but after the kittens didn't need her anymore she was brought back to the pound. This foster home could not stand the thought of this and resued her. She was pulled on a very special day to this foster home and later we found out that she was Shelter to Home's 2000th rescue!!! Laura D has proven that she was not to end up in a pound. She has been an awesome feline since coming to STH. She was very thin & her fur was depleted from kittens taking all her nutrients .Now,  Laura D has a full soft  and shiney black coat and has chunked up!She is super playful and loving. She will reward you with purrs and cat naps in your lap. She is fostered in a home with other felines and canines. All around great cat here! Laura D is a Fall Featured pet so you can  save $29.00 off her adoption price till the end of October. Don't wait bring her home today.
