Wyandotte Roosevelt’s Cade Barwig made a statement Saturday at the Division 1 individual wrestling regional at Saline.
Barwig finished third at 119 pounds to qualify for the state finals at the Palace in Auburn Hills on March 1-3.
Barwig won the consolation semifinal at the regional with a 14-5 major decision over Jordan Markey of Ypsilanti Lincoln.
