After a successful 2010 season, Wyandotte Roosevelt's football team gets ready for a new year.

The rain cooled down the sweat from the first day of practice for the football team on Monday.

Coach Ron Adams leads the Bears, the 2010 Downriver League champions who scored a school-record 414 points last year.

Hunter Matt is one of four captains. He started on the varsity team as a sophomore, and he was a captain as a junior.

is on Aug. 26 against Melvindale.
