Wyandotte Alum Leads USHL Hockey Team in Scoring

Gerald Mayhew also is tied for the most goals scored this season with the Cedar Rapids (Iowa) RoughRiders.

Gerald Mayhew continues to make a name for himself on the ice.

Named the 2011 Mr. Hockey award winner for his time with the Wyandotte Roosevelt state championship team, Mayhew is now in his second season as a forward for the Cedar Rapids (Iowa) RoughRiders.

A pair of goals last weekend has put him in a tie for the most goals (12) scored this season. He also leads his team in scoring with 33 points

Mayhew, 20, has committed to play collegiate hockey at Ferris State University following his career in the United States Hockey League.
