Wyandotte Cross Country Places 27th at State Finals

boys cross country team finished in 27th place in the Division 1 state championship Saturday at Michigan International Speedway in Brooklyn, according to the MHSAA.
Drake Davis led the Bears, finishing with a time of 17:05.2.
Also running for the Bears were Cody Rowland (17:08.4), Jake Coulter (17:20.5), Ryan Kusibab (17:30.0), Daniel Balavitch (17:38.5), Alex Holmes (17:59.5) and Brendan Arthur (18:43.3).

Roosevelt advanced to the state finals after finishing third at the regional meet at Lake Erie Metropark on Oct. 29.
