Wyandotte Roosevelt Beats Taylor Kennedy 36-0

Kyle Matejko, Nate Eady, Devan Stewart and Jacob Lavis all scored touchdowns for Wyandotte.

dominated Taylor Kennedy and sailed to a 36-0 win during the Bears' first home game of the season Thursday night.

The Bears (2-0) put up on 29 points in the first quarter to quickly pull away from the Eagles (0-2).

First-quarter scores came from touchdowns by Kyle Matejko, Nate Eady, Devan Stewart and a defensive touchdown by Jacob Lavis.

Roosevelt went up 36-0 in the third quarter when quarterback Kevin Matejko hooked up with Stewart for his second touchdown catch of the night.

Kennedy struggled to move the ball for most of the contest due to a strong Wyandotte defense, which gave it limited opportunities.

The Bears stay unbeaten in Downriver League action this season and head to Trenton next week for a battle with the Trojans.
