The art fair runs from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily through Saturday on Biddle, between Eureka and Oak streets.

More than 300 artists have converged onto Wyandotte this week to mingle with the estimated 200,000 people who will attend the fair.

I rushed around to get to the fair to see the Roosevelt HS Jazz Band on Thursday, shortly after noon. No band!! As far as I am concerned it was a wasted trip. If they aren't going to show, don't advertise it.

Sorry to hear that, Jack. The band is on the fair's entertainment lineup for noon Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. If the performance didn't occur, I'm not sure why that was. If I hear anything, I'll be sure to let you know.

I heard them on Friday at noon. Stayed for two songs, maybe about 25 people total in the audience at noon. Only two of us moved chairs under the only tree. Lack of shade for the daytime performances was a hindrance. Perhaps some pavilions next year?

It was ok, but some of it seemed like a business expo ! When does selling knives, jewelry cleaner, home improvements, political booths, etc. become art ?Needs improvements.

As always, over priced art, food and activities ... My last year going.
