Emerson, Dora are Exploring for New Homes

Each week, Wyandotte Patch features adoptable pets from both  and WAG Animal Rescue.

Vickie Taylor, vice president of WAG Animal Rescue, introduces us to Emerson the cat and Dora the dog:

Emerson is a 4-month-old Russian Blue mix. He is neutered, combo tested negative and all vaccines are done. Emerson is a sweetheart who loves to be petted and will roll right over for a belly rub.

Dora is an older dog and weighs about 6 pounds. She is the biggest sweetheart, who loves to sit on your lap and cuddle with you. She only has six teeth left and is missing part of her bottom jaw. She had X-rays done and it shows that it was removed, but it’s unknown why. She is housebroken, but cannot hold it for more than eight hours. She is very good with kids and other pets. She is current on vaccines, heartworm negative and microchipped.

Anyone interested in adopting an animal from WAG is encouraged to visit the group's website and fill out an application online. The group's animals are on display every Saturday 11 a.m.-3 p.m. at the Livonia PetSmart, 13150 Middlebelt. As not all animals are brought up each week, potential adopters are encouraged to email the group to make arrangements for a particular animal to be available to be seen.
