JazzPurr, Berkley Are Looking for New Homes

WAG Animal Rescue and Wyandotte Animal Pound have a multitude of animals available for adoption.

Each week, Wyandotte Patch features adoptable pets from both  and WAG Animal Rescue.

Vickie Taylor, vice president of WAG Animal Rescue, introduces us to Berkley the dog and JazzPurr the cat:

Berkley is a 7-year-old Pomeranian with a wonderful personality. He loves to play fetch, run and take naps. He weighs 24 pounds, is neutered, current on vaccinations and is on flea and heartworm preventative. He received a clean bill of health when he went to the vet on Dec. 23.

JazzPurr is a 6-year-old, neutered and front-declawed cat. He would love a quiet home where he will be loved on. He loves to sleep in the bed and is a sweetheart. It will take him about two weeks to adjust to a new home.

Anyone interested in adopting an animal from WAG is encouraged to visit the group's website and fill out an application online. The group's animals are on display every Saturday 11 a.m.-3 p.m. at the Livonia PetSmart, 13150 Middlebelt. As not all animals are brought up each week, potential adopters are encouraged to email the group to make arrangements for a particular animal to be available to be seen. An entire list, including photographs and descriptions, of all the group's adoptable animals can be found on its website.
