Playful Pup, Energetic Kitty Are Up for Adoption

WAG Animal Rescue and Wyandotte Animal Pound have a multitude of animals available for adoption into loving homes.

Each week, Wyandotte Patch features adoptable pets from both  and WAG Animal Rescue.

Vickie Taylor, vice president of WAG Animal Rescue, introduces us to Last the dog and Spitfire the cat:

Last is an 11-week-old shepherd mix. She is going to grow to be a large dog. She is very playful with a lot of energy. She needs to be adopted into a house with a fenced-in yard as she loves to run and play.

Spitfire is about 3 ½ months old. His name fits him perfectly. He has energy galore and loves to play. He’s happy to settle down, though, for a good petting.

Anyone interested in adopting an animal from WAG is encouraged to visit the group's website and fill out an application online. The group's animals are on display every Saturday from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. at the Livonia PetSmart, 13150 Middlebelt. As not all animals are brought up each week, potential adopters are encouraged to email the group to make arrangements for a particular animal to be available to be seen. An entire list, including photographs and descriptions, of all the group's adoptable animals can be found on its website.
