WAG Has Many Young Puppies, Kittens for Adoption

WAG Animal Rescue and Wyandotte Animal Pound have a multitude of animals available for adoption.

Each week, Wyandotte Patch features adoptable pets from both  and WAG Animal Rescue.

Vickie Taylor, vice president of WAG Animal Rescue, introduces us to Joey the dog and SnowCap the cat:

Joey is an 11-week-old red heeler/Lab mix. He is super affectionate and is a typical puppy who loves everyone. He should weigh about 50 pounds full grown. His vaccines have been started.

SnowCap is a very cute 12-week-old Siamese mix. He is independent, but still likes attention once in awhile. He is very playful and loves other cats. He has been combo tested negative and his shots have been started.

Anyone interested in adopting an animal from WAG is encouraged to visit the group's website and fill out an application online. The group's animals are on display every Saturday from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. at the Livonia PetSmart, 13150 Middlebelt. As not all animals are brought up each week, potential adopters are encouraged to email the group to make arrangements for a particular animal to be available to be seen. An entire list, including photographs and descriptions, of all the group's adoptable animals can be found on its website.
