Wyandotte Jaycees Seeks Needy Families for the Holidays
The group is ready to give out food and gifts to those in need for Thanksgiving and Christmas.
The Wyandotte Jaycees is seeking the public's help to find families in need for the holidays.
As they've done in years past, members of the Jaycees are planning to help those in need throughout Downriver over Thanksgiving and Christmas.
New this year, the group is working with to provide groceries and gifts.

To nominate a family in need, send the following information to info@wyandottejaycees.org:
- Why the family is in need
- Names and ages of parents and children
- Background on family
- Nominator’s relationship to family
- Family’s phone number with name of adult in household (to contact if chosen)
Nominations are being accepted until Tuesday for Thanksgiving and Dec. 4 for Christmas.

Families chosen for Thanksgiving assistance will receive a $75 gift card to for groceries, a turkey and additional non-perishable foods. At Christmas, families will receive gifts and children's clothing.
