Wyandotte Lions Club Hosting Weekend Flea Market, Antique Sale

Health professionals also will be on hand, providing free blood pressure and glaucoma checks.

The Wyandotte Lions Club is hosting a two-day flea market and antique sale at this weekend.

More than 120 booths will be selling crafts, furniture, clothing, sports memorabilia, antiques and more. The 22nd annual sale goes from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday.

Admission is $2. A concession stand also will be set up selling hot dogs, snacks and drinks.

In addition to the booths, nurses from will be on hand offering free blood pressure checks. Dr. Dan Stein of will perform free glaucoma testing and consultation from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday.

All proceeds from the market will be used to help the Lions Club fund their various community service projects throughout Wyandotte. The organization routinely provides free eye examinations and glasses throughout the year to those in need who meet eligibility requirements. The club also provides leader dogs without cost to qualified individuals.

Representatives from Leader Dogs for the Blind and Paws with a Cause will be on hand during the two days.
