It was a grand event and I want to thank all those who worked so hard planning and putting on this event for the love of those special animals in our watch and care. Also, special thanks to all those who came out and supported this event, adopted a special furry friend, donated, bought some sweet goodies or raffle tickets. It was great to see old friends and meet new friends. Thank you to Hoods Do It Best for allowing this event to happen there. Great job everyone!

Great photos Erin! Thank you to everyone..I cannot begin to name them all...who supported the event! in addition to the 16 adopted, we have 5 pending adoptions, which would break last years event adoptions! And I do believe the event has now raised over $4000! Once again thank you to all who made it happen! Patti Christie, Hood's Doit Best, Wyandotte, MI

Hood's Do-it Best isn't called "Do-it Best" for nothing!! This second hosting of the Love Me Because event held there speaks volumes for everyone associated with the store. They say it takes a village to raise a child.....and in this case, it appears to apply to the animals as well. It was a concentrated group effort of so many generous people to make this happen and I appplaud each and everyone of you who were involved in making this happen for the animals. Great job!! Special thank you from the furry ones who found a home:))
