You've Got Photos: Special Needs Animals Find New Homes

Sixteen hard-to-place animals were adopted at Saturday event at Hood's Do-It Best in Wyandotte.

Sixteen special needs animal found new homes during a five-hour adoption event held Saturday at .

The third annual was geared specifically toward  animals that are harder to adopt because of their unique traits or behaviors.

The event was a collaboration between P.A.W.S. of Michigan and Basil’s Buddies.

In addition to the animal adoptions, more than $3,700 was raised during the event through a bake sale, raffles, silent auction and more.

This year's event tops which found homes for 16 animals and raised $1,600.
