Cricket and Mick Jagger Are Seeking the “Satisfaction” Of a Forever Home

WAG is an all-volunteer, non-profit (501c3), domestic companion animal rescue organization dedicated to placing homeless dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens in permanent, loving, responsible homes.

Cricket is a female Maltese that was rescued from a puppy mill. The breeder had taken "inventory" and decided that this little girl was one of the undesirables. Was it because she had terrible infection in both ears?  Perhaps her crime was that her teeth needed attention or that she is 5 years old. Maybe it was that her rear section was stained yellow from laying in her own waste. Luckily, she was rescued before he could put her down.

Thanks to Kelly's Klips, Cricket has been groomed and looks like a million bucks! Wag had her ears treated, teeth cleaned, updated on all vaccinations, checked for heartworm, microchipped and spayed.

Cricket was very scared and reserved at first but has definitely come out of her shell. She loves to cuddle with her foster mom and likes to rumble with her Maltese foster brothers.

Cricket will "do her business" outside but doesn't give a signal that she needs to go. She is currently taken out every 3 or 4 hours and is crated when her foster isn’t home. She has developed a bad habit of marking, not only outside but inside as well. Her foster is working on correcting that behavior and believes that perhaps it wouldn’t be a problem if she were the only dog in the house.

This sweetheart will be at the Livonia PetSmart on Saturdays from 11 to 3. Come up to meet this sweetie and consider giving her the happy, forever home she deserves!

Mick Jagger is a beautiful Siamese that was given up because his family lost their home. He is 9 months old and is as friendly as can be! He has lived with other cats and a big dog.

This sweet guy is neutered, up-to-date with routine shots and is house trained. Mick Jagger is super friendly and would do well in a home with children. Consider making him a part of your family today!
