Museum Open House

Residents are encouraged to ride the trolley on Dec. 20 and visit the Wyandotte Museums Christmas Open House for a special holiday celebration at the Ford-MacNichol Home from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., and on Dec. 21 from 12 to 4 p.m.

"Step back in time with us as we recreate a turn-of-the-century Christmas with the custom and décor of days gone by. Warm yourself by the fire as you enjoy the traditions of holiday yesteryear!"

Get Caught Shopping and Win Free Gifts

Festive Fridays will also feature "Joe Buck" giveaways throughout the night.

The Downtown Development Authority and Mayor Peterson will be jointly giving away the gift certificates to random shoppers in Wyandotte on Dec.20 to help stimulate the holiday economy this season, the city said.

Complementary gift wrap will be available at Total Health, 2938 Biddle Avenue, for gifts purchased at Wyandotte Businesses on Dec. 20 from 6 to 9 p.m.

Joe Bucks are redeemable at participating Wyandotte businesses until Jan. 15.
