For those that feel like taking a little road trip, head on out to Howell for the “Michigan Challenge Balloonfest.” The event will be going strong all weekend, and it includes skydiving jumps, music, family entertainment and more.  

Cruise DownRiver

When: 6/28 at 10 a.m.

Join car enthusiasts as they cruise the cities of Wyandotte, Southgate, Lincoln Park and Riverview for the 15th Annual “Cruise Downriver.”  


Run the Plank

The inaugural Run the Plank 5K run/walk in Macomb is on Saturday. Gather the family, and head out for a good cause. Proceeds from the money raised will go to Macomb Township and local charities. For more information, visit www.runtheplank.com

The Yoga Movement

Taste of Thailand Food Festival

Michigan Thai restaurants gather to showcase Thailand’s cuisine and culture. The event will help raise money for the Buddhist Meditation Center and Buddhist Temple in Sterling Heights.
