A positive attitude is the key to longevity, there is positive in anything, even Obamacare, as itRead More allows folk to find a use for spending extra money that will help the less fortunate, whether they wanted the healthcare or not. The passengers on the 777 flight are probably safe and secure in Pakistan, held as long term hostages by nefarious folk. Obama will probably win the basketball March madness, since he deems that more important than world affairs, but that's ok, at least something is being accomplished. Keep that positve attitude.

Considering how long and well he lived, we would be wise to heed his advice! Also, the fact thatRead More his son said that he will "miss his companionship" would imply he was a genuine man. I hope my children will miss that about me one day.

I Thought the Lions practice facility was mainly located in Allen Park.
Michael D. Albano March 12, 2014 at 10:45 am
A few years back at a council meeting, it was stated that the Lion's Practice Facility is 18% inRead More Allen Park and 82% in Dearborn. The address is located on the Allen Park side of the structure, and that is why it is referred to as being in Allen Park, when it reality, most of it is in Dearborn...

Nelson Mandela was a tireless advocate of his causes, and always looked to reach across the aisleRead More for a solution to satisfy all sides. I am sure he would have approved of Michigan becoming a 'Right to Work' state, which allows workers the right and freedom in the workplace to choose for themselves whether to belong to a union or not, one of the many forms of freedom that Nelson Mandela was famous for in South Africa, and around the world.

Nelson Mandela is a hero of mine. So is Mahatma Ghandi. Both sought and affected change throughRead More non-violence. Another hero is Henry David Thoreau who was the architect of "Civil Disobedience" practiced by Nelson Mandela and Mahatma Ghandi. Special men in a time that required special actions. Not sure that I could endure what they did. I'm not inclined to turning a cheek for anyone. P3

It's a fine thing that the Patch syndicate included a bulletin of this tragic event. You see, I haveRead More been living in a cave with no access to a radio, television, newspapers or any other media, so I didn't know that the former president of South Africa had died. Now, if only I could find a source for local news.

Diana... when ANY vehicle hits a tree at highway speeds theres going to be SUBSTANTIAL damageRead More ,including the possibility of the engine being separated from the vehicle the investigation isnt to determine if the engine leaving the vehicle was the CAUSE
Diana Jackson February 25, 2013 at 12:53 am
They need to investigate why the car was out of control, clear roads, no other vehicle involved. IfRead More the motor mounts were not secure it could have caused a steering problem therefore causing the engine to separate on impact.
Peter March 8, 2013 at 02:58 am
Very sad for everyone involved. . . . . . parents, children, family and community.
Peter March 8, 2013 at 09:19 pm
David, I asume the Wyandotte police will have to eventually investigate. My condolonces to theRead More parents and family. This poor girl was way too young to die at such a tender age.
Roy White April 25, 2013 at 07:18 am
