I also miss the Wyandotte Main and Annex. My two cousins and I used to go to the show at least twice a week when we were growing up.

I was also born and raised in Wyandotte and my mother lived there most of her life so we visited yearly. I enjoy keeping up on the happenings and progress in Wyandotte through you. I have so many happy memories of growing up in Wyandotte and I miss the Wyandotte "show" as we called it, I couldn't believe it was gone! I lived in Wyandotte from 1939 till 1960 . Love all the pictures and love your feature on houses for sale. I lived on 8th st. and Davis. Two blocks from Mt Carmel cemetery. I was born in the house I was raised in and lived there except for the two yrs we lived in Riverview, until I moved to Indianapolis.

My father was born at home,555 Vinewood .He lived in Wyandotte for 40 years, which is where I was raised. He never lived more than 15 miles from his birth home (accept for WWII), until last few months living in a care facility by me in Kalamazoo. He died in April of 2012 at the age of 98! He left me many great Wyandotte stories, which I hope to write down
