Improvements are on tap in the spring at Pulaski Park and Memorial Park.
Those who use the basketball courts at Pulaski Park and Memorial Park will see noticeable improvements next year. The city has received a $56,000 grant from Wayne County Parks to build new courts in city parks. City officials choose Pulaski and Memorial as those are the two most needing repairs, said Tim Beaker, interim superintendent of recreation. A new cement court will be laid, along with new rims installed and a fresh paint job. The work is set to be completed in the spring.
