Kids and kids-at-heart took to the streets of downtown Wyandotte on Friday for a Chalk and Chocolate Walk. Check out the photos submitted of some of the chalk drawings.
The Wyandotte Downtown Development Authority-sponsored event featured sidewalk chalk and tasty treats.
There were things to please the eyes, as well as the tummies, of everyone strolling through downtown Wyandotte on Friday night. The Wyandotte Downtown Development Authority hosted its Chalk and Chocolate Walk, featuring sidewalk chalk and tasty treats. About a dozen professional, emerging and student artists drew on the sidewalks for all to enjoy. Chalk also was available for anyone to use to create their own masterpiece. This month’s Friday After 5 event has been planned as a feast for the eyes and treat for the taste buds for those who visit downtown Wyandotte. Chalk & Chocolate in Wyandotte, sponsored by the Downtown Development Authority, will take place on Aug. 31 from 6:30 to 9 p.m. and feature more than a dozen artists creating temporary sidewalk chalk displays.
