Ex-Marine Surprises Girlfriend with Marriage Proposal in Downtown Wyandotte
Daniel Juhasz surprised Stephanie Mayville Friday night in downtown Wyandotte with a marriage proposal that included a dancing flash mob.
Stephanie Mayville, 23, came to downtown Wyandotte on Friday night to enjoy the Third Friday celebration with family members and friends. The 2007 Wyandotte Roosevelt graduate had no idea, however, that it would also be the first evening she would spend engaged to her boyfriend, 23-year-old Daniel Juhasz. Juhasz, who is a 2006 Roosevelt graduate, was recently discharged from the U.S. Marine Corps, following two tours in Iraq and one in Afghanistan. The couple, which met as students at Roosevelt, had already spent time together since he had been home, but on Friday night Juhasz didn’t accompany Mayville to downtown Wyandotte.
