WATCH: Wyandotte Lantern Launch Inspires Many

Downtown business owners hold a pink lantern launch for National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Saturday evening found downtown Wyandotte filled with breast cancer survivors, and their friends and family. The Wyandotte Pink Lantern Launch for Breast Cancer helped support Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital's Yes Ma'am mammogram program. Local photographer Anthony DeCuir captured part of the event on video. The event was part of Wyandotte's Paint the Town Pink in honor of October being National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Paint the Town Pink is a joint effort of downtown business owners, who have formed the “Tatas Task Force” to host several events promoting breast cancer awareness.
